Boundary Museum
The Boundary Museum opened in 1958 as a centennial project in Grand Forks, B.C. The museum is operated by the Boundary Museum Society and acquires, preserves, and makes accessible artifacts, archives, and historical reference material relating to the Boundary region of B.C. from Christina Lake in the east to Phoenix in the west.
Holdings relate to the development and settlement of the geographic area from Phoenix, BC to Christina Lake, BC, including Paulson, BC. Holdings include: extensive photograph collection, outdoor exhibits and horse drawn transportation artifacts, scale models of Granby Smelter and the City of Grand forks, period rooms, history of Doukhobors, mining, and extensive local history collection, including archives and other reference material.
Summer: 10 – 4 (Mon-Sat)
Fall & Winter: 10 – 4 (Tues-Fri) or open by appointment
