City of Richmond Archives
The City of Richmond Archives, part of the City Clerk's Department, is the official repository for City records of enduring value including minutes, bylaws, and administrative and operational records of the City of Richmond. In the Canadian tradition of "total archives", we also acquire records of individuals, organizations, and businesses that reflect the social, economic, political and cultural development of the community as a whole. In addition to local government and private textual records, the Archives' holdings include photographs, maps, architectural plans, and a limited number of audio and video tapes.
