Dawson City Museum
The Yukon First Nations Crafts Exhibit was created by the Dawson City Museum of Dawson City, Yukon in the late 1970s. It was an attempt to document traditional First Nations skills so that they could be included in the Museum's galleries to give context to artifacts. The Yukon First Nations Crafts Exhibit was created by Sally Robinson and Kathy Toombs who gathered the primary information. The Exhibit has been part of the Museum's gallery in one form or another from 1979. In 1986 the Dawson City Museum renovated the galleries and the Yukon First Nations Crafts Exhibit was a main feature. In 2002 the Lind Gallery was added to the Museum and this exhibit was integrated into this gallery.
