Les documents composant ce fonds ont été acquis de Jules Rochon dans une convention signée en février 1997

Scope and content

Images et films sont autant d'éléments qui font état des divers événements marquants couverts par le photographe. Le reportage photographique relate quotidiennement et de façon précise le voyage du général Charles de Gaulle au Québec, soit du 23 au 26 juillet 1967, depuis Québec, par Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Louiseville, Repentigny jusqu'à Montréal. Parmi les personnalités y figurant, nous remarquons Jean Drapeau, Yves Gabias, Daniel Johnson, Gilles Lamontagne, Paul-Émile Léger, René Lévesque, Marcel Masse et Yves Michaud. De plus, le film LA VIE À BEAUMONT, réalisé à l'occasion du tricentenaire de Beaumont, en 1972, refait l'histoire de cette municipalité à l'est de Lévis
