Gravelbourg and District Museum
The Museum's artifact and archival collections focus on the following broad subjects: the Gravel family history; Dr. Antoine Soucy's medical collection, photographs of La Vielle and numerous town photos; sketches and paintings by the renowned painter of the Co-Cathedral, Mgr. Charles Maillard; local heritage photographs and signs; unique showpieces on Cripple Creek camp and the North West Mounted Police; photographs from the film production, Prairie Giant; The Tommy Douglas Story(some of the filming was done in Gravelbourg because numerous buildings still are faced with the original Claybank brick), and a rare and unique collection of '78 records from CFRG(Gravelbourgs's first community radio station).
