Fonds consists of a collection of papers and photographs of the Fenwick family. The fonds includes correspondence, school certificates, newspaper clippings, watercolour paintings, a sketchbook, photographs and a photo album. It also includes correspondence from Margaret Barton. Fonds also includes papers and photographs of other members of the Fenwick family - Edwin and Edward Fenwick.

The fonds consists of Haigh's journal and remark book, containing information and ephemera relating to HMS Warspite (1899-1902); handwritten script of a play written by the Gunroom officers of HMS Warspite and coauthored by F.E.P. Haigh (performed in 1901); and photographs of places and events in the Royal Navy Pacific Station, including views of Valparaiso, Guatemala, Vancouver and Comox, as well as emphasis on Esquimalt and Victoria.

The fonds consists of a scrapbook containing newspaper clippings about the book burning controversy, and correspondence between Snowsell, the Mount View Parent Teacher Association, the Federal Minister of Justice, and George R. Pearkes.

The fonds consists of log books of the following vessels: Island Commander (1943), Forest Friend (1920-1923), and the sealing schooner. Viva (894). Fonds includes registers of Port of Victoria warden fees (1901-1947), agreement and account of crew of foreign-going ship Dorasieward (1891) and a dossier of G. R. Newell's survey of the Nancy Dee (1962-1963), which includes correspondence, notes, and sixteen photographs. Fonds includes a drawing of the HMY Britannia.

The collection consists of 91 volumes of log books of North Pacific sealing vessels detailing crews, seals taken and hunting area; 9 volumes of Entrance and Clearance logs for Burrard Inlet, Nanaimo and Victoria (1872-1889), and other assorted records relating to maritime activities.
