Series consists of audio-visual materials created by the Federated Women's Institute of Ontario and the Morrish Women's Institute, c1990s. It includes: (1) VHS Tape entitled "LINKS Project;" (2) Audio Cassette Tape entitled "W.I. Centennial Song," 1997. The reverse of the VHS case reads: "This video is designed to encourage discussion and development of community-based LINKS projects. LINKS stands for Linking Neighbours with Knowledge. Four out of ten Canadians cannot read well enough for all of their everyday tasks. LINKS volunteers can help with basic, everyday things like grocery shopping and letter writing. And they can help with our technological world -- with bank machines, computers and the gadgets used at home and on the farm. LINKS volunteers can encourage the persons they help to take advantage of literacy programs to improve their skills. Some LINKS volunteers will work as mentors. Others will volunteer their time at a community centre. Some will concentrate on the special needs of groups like the elderly. All LINKS volunteers will give help on a confidential basis. LINKS projects will be promoted through use of the distinctive butterfly symbol."

Series consists of four (4) artifacts created by and for the Morrish Branch of the Women's Institute, c1980-2007. It includes: Port Hope & District Agricultural Society Fair Ribbons for Handiwork, 2006-2007; and a small desktop flag holder featuring Federated Women's Institutes of Ontario insignia and two small flags (Canadian and British), undated.

Series consists of newspaper clippings from various publications collected for use by the Morrish Branch of the Women's Insitute, 1942-2005. It includes articles refering to local branches of the Federated Women's Institutes of Ontario and other related causes and events in the area. It is unclear why these clippings were collected and not incorporated into the Tweedsmuir Local History Books (#2013.38.12).

Series consists of correspondence and notes created by the Morrish Branch of the Women's Institute, 1959-2010. It includes: cards and correspondence between the Morrish Women's Institute, various political dignitaries, individuals, and other organizations; it also consists of hand written notes on the history of education in Hope Township (including Port Britain S.S. #1).

Series consists of correspondence and a school (?) notebook collected and created by both Mary Shane (nee Ferguson) and her husband W.A. Shane, c. 1911-1960. It includes: School notebook by Mary Ferguson; Letter to Mary Ferguson from Victory Loan in Brampton, 1918; Letter to Mary Ferguson from Ryrie Bros. Ltd., 1918; and Advertisement to Mr. W.A. Shane from Mason & Dale.

Series consists of sketch books, scrapbooks, and loose sketches created by Mary Shane (nee Ferguson) as a girl and young woman, c. 1909-1940s. Subjects of sketches include mostly kitchen-themed still life images and shapes.
