Township of Langley Centennial collection

The collection consists of material relating to the centennial celebrations held in Langley, B.C. on April 26, 1973, including event schedules and programmes, council meeting agenda, and draft copies of a history of Langley to be placed in a time capsule. Collection also includes geneaologies of families of the original 1872 petitioners for incorporation, compiled by the 100th Anniversary Committee.

Bush of Briercrest, Sask., 2 certificates from the Canadian Society of the Red Cross, one from the Manitoba and Saskatchewan auxiliary of the Canadian Bible Society, and one from the Saskatchewan Grain Growers' Association (1917-1918).

Public Schools Rolls of Honour Certificates awarded to Edith, Herbert, Earl Levi, David and James Hopkins (1890-1909), military exemption record for David Hopkins, and Langley Municipal tax receipt (1898) to Lewis Hopkins.
