The fonds consists of records relating to the Alberta Lung Association and includes a minute book (1929-1939) for the Calgary Tuberculosis Association (incorporated June 27, 1930 to effect the relief and cure of persons suffering from tuberculosis and to prevent the spread of tuberculosis by circulation of literature and lectures, by supplying patients with proper food, clothing and medicine and the establishment of a clinic; became the Calgary Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases Association in 1969 and the Calgary Lung Association in 1977), a copy of the 1961 Master of Social Work thesis by Harold Robertson Doxses entitled "Tuberculosis Rehabilitation in British Columbia and Alberta," annual reports, a Manual of the Christmas Seals Campaign, copies of the Creed of the TB Worker, photographs of board members, tuberculosis equipment, and tuberculosis facilities, and educational and advertising moving image and sound recordings.
