Ken and Doris Sutton fonds

The fonds consists of materials created by Ken Sutton of Calling Lake, Alberta between 1968 and 1994. The fonds consists of photocopied pages of Mr. Sutton's diary concerning a 1968 forest fire, and personal reminiscences of events that occurred during his work life. There is also a photograph of a McCormick-Deering threshing machine taken on Ken's father's farm west of Alcomdale in the 1920s. Other photographs were taken at Calling Lake and include Treaty Day 1964, the first Sutton home, the Mennonite Church, the Post Office, Moose Horn Market, and the aftermath of the 1984 tornado in the Big Coulee area. Doris Sutton took a photograph of the 1966-68 archeological dig at Calling Lake which was headed by Dr. Gruhn. She also made postcards of some of her photographs, and molded animals from Athabasca clay.

George Lucien Godel fonds

The fonds consists of materials created by George Godel of Athabasca between 1942 and 1980 and consists of George Godel's annual report on agriculture in the Athabasca district, 1942-1956 (incomplete), newspaper articles, and agricultural studies by Godel. The fonds also includes minutes of meetings of the Athabasca District Home and Farm Development Association.

The fonds consists of two books relating to farming: "The Successful Stockman and Manual of Husbandry" published in 1899 in Springfield, Mass and most of a book on farming which has no cover. There are several small farm machinery parts catalogues, a 1930s bull service record book for Caribou Range, an article on the origins of the Athabasca Landing Trail published in the St. Albert Gazette in 1984 and a Canadian handbook dated about 1907.

Eddie Jedeon Shank fonds

The fonds consists of biographies of Eddie and Rosana written by their son, Isreal; marriage, birth and other certificates for Eddie and Rosana; and a scrapbook chiefly about Eddie Shank's agricultural competitions and the boxing prowess of his sons. Rosana Shank is one of several seniors talking on an audio cassette. There are 4 photographs of Lida (Shank) Loxam, her husband, Ed, and their daughter, Doreen, as well as a few articles about Doreen in the RCMP.
