The fonds consists of minutes of Athabasca Local #3 of the Alberta Teachers' Association (ATA) between 1945 and March 1973 and September 1982 and November 1994; Athabasca Sub-Local minutes September 1950 to May 1962; financial statements September 1937-1995 (non-inclusive), correspondence, agenda, committee reports, annual reports to the ATA, newsletters, photographs and slides related to the book <i>Clover and Wild Strawberries</i> and files pertaining to workshops, public relations and conferences. Includes minutes of the Athabasca sub-local, report regarding regionalization of the Aspen View Regional Division, and a photograph of Edwin Parr Composite Community School ca. 1961. There is also a reprint of the ATA magazine of June, 1920 and an original of the Alberta Teachers' Alliance Inc. magazine, Jan., 1933.

The fonds consists of minutes of school trustee meetings of Athabasca School District 839 from 1903-1945, correspondence,trustee nomination papers, reports of school inspectors and attendance officers, estimates, inventories, job applications, and financial records. There is a 1955 map of Athabasca School Division No.42, a copy of the 1937 Alberta School Act and Athabasca school registers from 1927-28, 1935, 1941, 1942, 1943. The blueprints include the following schools: Ellscott, Calling Lake, Granville, Lahaieville, Perryvale, Rocky Ridge, Silver Fox, Smith, Spurfield and Twin Spruce as well as teacherages, toilets and a coal shed. There are partial sets of school registers for the following schools: Athabasca, Big Coulee, Boyle, Clover View, Crerar, Ellscott, Flat Creek, Forest, Forest View, Forfar, Gamefield, George Lake, Granville, Hondo, Meanook, Narrow Lake, Otter Creek, Parkhurst, Ranch, Rodger's Chapter, Silver Fox, Smith, Smoky Creek, South Athabasca, Winding Trail, Warren,and Youngville.

The fonds consists of annual programs and handbills for the final concerts; also included are the 1974, 1975, 1978, 1981, 1986-1990, 1993 annual financial statements. 20th and 35th Gala Concerts showcased former performers who have made a career in the arts. There are also several programs of the Alberta Music Festival Association annual Provincial Festivals and an "Anthology of Poetry", a collection of poems by local writers, sponsored by the Music Festival Association to celebrate Athabasca's 75th anniversary in 1986.
