Fonds consists of records pertaining to Lucien Maynard's political career, to his involvement with ACFA, and to his personal life, and includes affidavits, agendas/itineraries, almanacs, articles, blank cheques, business cards, bylaws, books, certificates of incorporation, correspondence, court transcripts, draft manuscripts, election materials, financial records, historical/biographical sketches, invitations, leases, legislation, maps, member lists, memorandum, minutes, the ACFA newspaper <em>La Survivance</em>, the Social Credit newspaper <em>Today and Tomorrow</em>, newsletters, newspaper clippings, notes, notices, oaths, pamphlets, petitions, plans, poems, postcards, programmes, questionnaires, radio broadcast transcripts, receipts, reports, resolutions, speeches, telegrams, various government commissions reports, voting proxies, wills, and photographs.

The fonds consists of the personal and professional correspondence of Dr. Manoly R. Lupul (1950-2008) including materials relating to his teaching career at the University of Alberta, numerous published materials related to his activities, and photographs and slides (1932-2007). There are also two smaller series within the fonds. The first series consists of materials created and collected by Lupul during his time on the Canadian Consultative Council on Multiculturalism, including various newsletters and other publications produced by the council relating to the official policy of Multiculturalism and its inclusion in the Canadian Constitution (1972-1997). The seconds series consists of materials created and collected by Lupul during his time as the director, and afterwards, of the Canadian Institute for Ukrainian Studies, mainly consisting of the Canadian Institute for Ukrainian Studies newsletter (1976-2008).

The collection consists of images featuring a portrait painting of Alexander Cameron Rutherford.

The fonds consists of material pertaining to Ted Orchard's political career including a business card and a copy of the New Democrat Election Special dating from 1968.

Fonds consists of records created by Larry Shaben while he was the Minister of Economic Development and Trade

The fonds consists of 126 audio cassettes of interviews with founding members of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation Party of Alberta, former Alberta New Democratic Party Leader Grant Notley and his wife Sandra Notley, and people associated with the Alberta New Democratic Party. Also includes handwritten notes and typewritten transcripts of some of the interviews, and Howard Leeson's book Grant Notley: The Social Conscience of Alberta.

Fonds consists of records pertaining to J.J. Bowlen's private and professional life, including letters patent appointing him Lieutenant-Governor of Alberta and a number of diaries.
