There is also the text of a speech made by Louisa (Camsell) Mills in 1948 to the Historical Society of Edmonton recounting her early days at Fort Simpson, a 1959 newspaper article about Julian Mills, captain of the Northern Transportation Company tug Radium Prospector on Lake Athabasca, and the 1914 program for the entertainment held in the Star Theatre to officially open the Athabasca Public School (now known as the Brick School). Photographs of the school board members are in the program. The audio cassette was recorded at the Athabasca Archives in August, 1995 in a discussion between Violet Aldridge, Marilyn Mol and Bob Tannas and includes talk of the boats Captain Mills built and captained, the funeral of the "Lost Patrol" at Fort McPherson, friends in Athabasca Landing and schooling.

The fonds consists of general travel information on the rivers and rapids of the north and mentions tracking and the names of various members of Klondike parties. Mattie kept a daily diary from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 1899 describing domestic chores, people whom she met, weather, living conditions and expenses. The members are mentioned for each of the following parties: the New Hampshire Party, Philadelphia Party, Halifax Party, French Party and Down the Peel Party. Others mentioned are the Yukon Valley Party, Mr. Butterfield's Party, Mr. Potts Party, the Chicago Party, Camsells, Mrs. Mills, Mrs. Reeve (Anglican Bishop's wife), Nagle trader Boniface Lafferty, Mr. Dunworth, Professor Bell of the Geologic Survey in Ottawa, the McKinley Barren Land Company, and the Pelican gas well.

The fonds consists of reprinted newspaper articles, a list of electors for 1938 and 1958, a few unidentified photocopied pictures and 10 photographs; also the booklet "Memoirs of the Official Opening of the Amber Valley Community Centre, June 28, 1975". The photos include: W.G. and Alice Cromwell, Columbus Bowen, Bob Jamerson, and Williams and Kinamore families. The booklet "Rural Women in Focus" was printed by the Amber Valley Community Association to celebrate the United Nations 1975 International Women's Year. Included is information on Lydia Williams, Marjorie Logan, Nancy Appleby, Amber Valley pioneer women, Athabasca Art Club, Martha Edwards and Palma Lennie. Two photographs from the Athabasca Archives collection include: Georgia Toles and an unknown woman. The map is a hand drawn Amber Valley Heritage Map, 1987, showing the present and former land owners in Township 66, Range 20, W4M. As well as the names of farm families, the map locates two stores, two post offices, the school and the cemetery.

The fonds consists of a 1976 university assignment on the Richmond Park District, photographs relating to the November 1994 launching of the history book "Reflections from across the River", and photographs of the February 1995 dog-sled postal run from Athabasca to Edmonton to commemorate Edmonton's bicentennial. There are also 9 photographs taken in 1992 of the Alberta Pacific Forest Industries mill site. There are photocopies of the Township Register for Twp 65 Range 21 and 22, and for Twps 66, 67 68 Range 22 stored in the oversize cabinet. There is a 7 page list of "Old Timers" with their date of arrival in Athabasca (possibly from the 1967 Canadian Centennial).
