This material was in the possession of Rev. Robert Buchanan (Free Methodist Church); in the course of their research on the Gospel Workers, Gerald and Helen Hobbs arranged for the microfilming, and for placing the film in the United Church Archives.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of diary of John Buchanan from July 15, 1902, through October 20, 1902, followed by three pages of commentary on scripture dated in July of that year, and one clipping. The diary begins with the record of his own previous spiritual experience; it then records his personal reflections and activities, and also describes the camp meeting activity of the Gospel Workers which organized as a church during the time covered by the diary.
