Biographical history

Dr. Peter McCaffrey was born in Madoc, Ontario. He graduated from Toronto University in 1911 and became house surgeon at the Vancouver General Hospital. He settled in Agassiz in 1912 and carried on a private practice there for many years. He also served as Medical Health Officer for Kent Municipality, as CPR doctor from Harrison Mills to North Bend, and as house doctor at the Harrison Hot Springs Hotel. He also served as president of the Agassiz-Harrison Board of Trade.
