The fonds consists of nine scrapbooks kept by Lucy Maud Montgomery during the 1890s and early 1900s. One is devoted to articles she wrote for the "Halifax Echo" while the others contain poetry, articles and short stories written mostly by herself but including some work by others. Two personal scrapbooks contain more miscellaneous items such as programs, wedding invitations, tickets, cards, timetables, pictures, notes, and articles about herself. Some items are annotated by the author.

Sandy Young fonds

This fonds consists of records related to Sandy Young’s academic research, interests, and teaching career which have a particular emphasis on sport and sport history in Nova Scotia and Canada.

The largest series in the fonds consists of student papers, most of which were written for Dr. Young’s leisure studies classes and contain information gleaned from student interviews with athletes. The fonds also contains official and personal correspondence; research notes; newspaper clippings primarily regarding Nova Scotia athletes; conference information; committee records; film and video recordings used for class instruction; magazines; programs from various sports associations and sport teams; publications which include many articles written by Young on Maritime sport history; sound recordings; slides dealing with international sports history used for teaching; photographs of mostly Nova Scotian or Canadian athletes; postcards; maps; and scrapbooks. The fonds also contains an assortment of artifacts and memorabilia related to Nova Scotia Olympian Aileen Meagher, including a track outfit, relay baton, and Olympic bronze medal certificate.

This fonds contains one series consisting of several scrapbooks kept by Philip H. West from 1944 to 1957. They contain invitations and letters to Mr. and Mrs. West, newspaper clippings concerning the couple, relatives or friends. Also included are diplomas and certificates presented to Mr. and Mrs. West, programs of events, various pictures, greeting cards and postcards, brochures of tourist sites, water colour paintings done by Philip West and memorabilia of the Royal Family of the United Kingdom.

The fonds contains 76 loose album pages from a scrapbook kept by Peter Shama for the period 1954-1970s. The scrapbook includes newspaper clippings, programs, ticket stubs, and invitations chronicling Peter's involvement with the local theatre community, particularly the Little Theatre Guild of Charlottetown. The fonds also includes Dominion Drama Festival programs and Charlottetown Summer Festival programs, as well as programs and ticket stubs from several smaller festivals and productions. The fonds also contains a photograph album containing 38 images (many of which are identified), a 1958 PEI Drama Festival Best Director trophy, and an A. Y. P. A. 1950 Drama Festival silver spoon.
