Sooke Region Museum
The Sooke Region Museum is operated in Sooke, B.C., by the Sooke Region Historical Society. The museum acquires artifacts, archival records, and historical reference material relating to Sooke and surrounding area.

The holdings relate to the development and settlement of the Sooke area of the southwest tip of Vancouver Island from Metchosin to Port Renfrew. Holdings include extensive photograph collection, manuscript collection (letters, diaries, memoirs, minutes, etc.), oral histories, clippings files, local newspapers, maps, and a small reference library.

Museum Hours: Throughout the year 9 am to 5 pm with the exception of Mondays during the winter season and a brief Christmas closing.
