The holdings relate to the archaeological, pioneer and natural history of the North Thompson River area from Barriere to Blue River and the Clearwater River Valley, including Wells Gray Provincial Park. Holdings include photographs, slides, and film of schools, homesteads, pioneer families and activities, scenery, geological features, historical buildings, business and community events, economic development (including road and rail construction, small fruit industry, logging, sawmills, and mining). Other holdings include letters, diaries, minutes, personal memoirs, local newspapers, maps, and reference material relating to archaeological sites and to native peoples (the North Thompson Shuswap).
